I found at least one example of bad images at darks.0932. The first object were also messed up but they cleared by object.1002. There are probably other examples in the 2000 images I took tonight. I checked the dis mask problem (not changing back to 1.5 from 5 arc sec). I did not see the problem occur tonight after the observers finished with the 5 arc sec slit. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:10 dcamera 287( 652) 136 75 11.3 14.1 13.6 14.1 11.7 -- 1.34 20:10 dcamera 207( 480) 80 64 10.4 12.1 11.9 11.7 10.5 -- 1.10 00:25 APOLLO 225( 1276) 330 41 9.9 9.3 9.7 9.2 9.6 -- 1.40 01:36 NICFPS 319( 972) 300 56 10.4 9.7 10.2 10.0 10.1 Ks 0.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 57 20 14 263 (W) 540 mstly clr none 17:00 57 20 13 247 (WSW) 500 mstly clr none 18:00 57 20 11 246 (WSW) 438 clear none 19:00 55 18 5 263 (W) 442 clear none 20:00 51 17 6 231 (SW) 388 clear none 21:00 51 17 8 194 (SSW) 665 clear none 22:00 51 18 15 201 (SSW) 765 clear none 23:00 50 18 11 190 (S) 832 clear none 00:00 50 17 10 214 (SW) 842 clear none 01:00 50 15 9 214 (SW) 675 clear none 02:00 50 15 8 238 (WSW) 563 clear none 03:00 50 14 6 244 (WSW) 605 clear none 04:00 51 14 6 266 (W) 569 clear none 05:00 50 12 8 284 (WNW) 548 clear none 06:00 50 11 1 276 (W) 501 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
