We did not focus before closing. I noted the open and close times in the log, but these only correspond to the dome state. After trying to get on sky at 00:20, SPICAM was freezing on image readout. Restarting nubs, instrument, and ICC did not work, until I employed an order of operations of these actions that apparently hit the spot. This took an hour of questionable sky time, unfortunately. Once it was fixed however, there was no science taken due to clouds, so I also logged all this time to weather, thinking that sky conditions were the same regardless of hardware issues. No science taken all night. Called it at 04:50. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 19 17 269 (W) 698 clear none 17:00 51 17 25 257 (WSW) 739 clear none 18:00 50 15 19 247 (WSW) 766 clear none 19:00 48 14 22 238 (WSW) 725 ptly cldy none 20:00 46 15 19 259 (W) 777 mstly cldy none 21:00 45 15 18 245 (WSW) 851 cloudy none 22:00 45 14 18 253 (WSW) 821 cloudy none 23:00 44 15 19 227 (SW) 818 cloudy none 00:00 43 16 15 241 (WSW) 883 cloudy none 01:00 42 17 17 250 (WSW) 879 mstly cldy none 02:00 41 17 15 203 (SSW) 850 mstly cldy none 03:00 40 18 14 241 (WSW) 913 cloudy none 04:00 39 18 14 237 (WSW) 898 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
