During observations, I was noticing a large amount of noise in the pmss monitor, particularly in the second and fourth rows, so I used this time to relax the primary in the closed dome. That seemed to quiet the noise, and I was not worried the rest of the night. Secondary behaved well, except for large differences in "sec des enc" and "sec cmd" readings. This improved after switching to Agile. Otherwise, no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:05 dcamera 349( 293) 127 70 4.0 5.8 6.4 5.8 4.5 -- 1.58 21:04 dcamera 322( 198) 153 78 3.4 4.5 4.9 4.2 3.7 -- 1.64 23:16 dcamera 337( 177) 144 37 2.7 3.0 3.6 3.2 2.8 -- 1.70 01:20 AGILE 387(-1894) 281 65 2.3 2.3 2.7 2.5 2.4 BG40 1.58 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 22 12 256 (WSW) 1513 mstly cldy none 17:00 42 19 21 255 (WSW) 1278 ptly cldy none 18:00 42 19 22 267 (W) 1237 mstly clr none 19:00 41 21 26 258 (WSW) 1556 mstly clr none 20:00 39 22 24 253 (WSW) 1359 ptly cldy none 21:00 38 24 22 266 (W) 1929 mstly cldy none 22:00 38 23 31 270 (W) 1499 mstly clr none 23:00 37 24 22 266 (W) 1441 mstly clr none 00:00 37 22 32 270 (W) 1392 clear none 01:00 36 22 15 274 (W) 1393 clear none 02:00 36 22 18 268 (W) 1420 clear none 03:00 35 23 22 281 (W) 1317 clear none 04:00 35 23 21 269 (W) 1372 clear none 05:00 35 24 17 273 (W) 1325 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
