It moved about 4 degrees before it stopped. I did an axis stop/init and then it slewed fine. The DIS slit masks were stuck on the 5.0 arc sec mask, regardless of the slit in place. I did a dcam init to fix. Some clouds to start the night but things cleared around 23:00. My 2nd half observer lost her internet connection and had to re-connect. This caused her slit viewer images to stop updating. She had to re-start TUI to fix the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:04 SPIcam 424( 510) 122 64 3.7 5.6 6.2 5.6 3.9 sdss r 1.40 20:21 dcamera 541( 387) -135 36 2.2 3.0 4.1 2.8 2.3 -- 1.80 23:46 dcamera 396( 111) 55 50 0.8 1.0 1.5 1.0 0.6 -- 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 26 19 246 (WSW) 3191 mstly cldy none 17:00 43 18 28 263 (W) 3501 mstly cldy none 18:00 45 11 28 265 (W) 3483 ptly cldy none 19:00 42 5 28 250 (WSW) 2848 mstly clr none 20:00 38 -3 13 265 (W) 3611 ptly cldy none 21:00 37 -8 9 301 (WNW) 2286 ptly cldy none 22:00 35 -8 14 290 (WNW) 1751 ptly cldy none 23:00 35 -10 15 293 (WNW) 1172 clear none 00:00 35 -11 10 277 (W) 1132 clear none 01:00 34 -10 14 285 (WNW) 1029 clear none 02:00 33 -10 17 297 (WNW) 962 clear none 03:00 31 -10 12 276 (W) 921 clear none 04:00 32 -8 21 289 (WNW) 1118 clear none 05:00 31 -5 19 291 (WNW) 1188 clear none 06:00 31 -7 10 271 (W) 1153 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
