The header reports that the cal mirror was on sky, and there were no instrument changes that we were aware of. Obj0008.fits was fine, with no known changes. Ecam slitviewer crashed at 05:30, between obj007 and obj0008, and I was never able to recover it on my end, even after power-cycling on obs1. Karen had to run the guider herself to avoid missing her prime observations. No other problems. Good seeing and clear weather all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:43 APOLLO 300( 1397) 5 74 8.2 10.8 10.4 10.4 8.8 530nm 1.70 20:34 dcamera 218( 359) -30 56 8.7 9.4 9.4 9.1 8.5 -- 1.19 01:25 ecamera 367( -627) -122 64 8.2 7.9 8.3 7.8 7.6 ND2 1.57 02:21 ecamera 285( -657) 131 25 8.4 7.8 8.3 7.8 7.8 clear 2.09 05:38 ecamera 375( -642) 127 58 8.8 7.4 7.8 7.3 7.5 clear 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 1 264 (W) 479 clear none 17:00 8 323 (NW) 436 clear none 18:00 11 270 (W) 372 clear none 19:00 6 273 (W) 480 clear none 20:00 9 306 (NW) 452 clear none 21:00 11 264 (W) 582 clear none 22:00 11 264 (W) 751 clear none 23:00 8 262 (W) 605 clear none 00:00 11 222 (SW) 552 clear none 01:00 13 228 (SW) 622 clear none 02:00 6 199 (SSW) 726 clear none 03:00 3 204 (SSW) 648 clear none 04:00 10 319 (NW) 487 clear none 05:00 6 267 (W) 532 clear none 06:00 4 327 (NNW) 603 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
