It was MSSSO R, seeing was 1.06. We started out with clouds in the afternoon that cleared nicely for sunset. Things were beautiful for a few hours, and then we had to close for nearby rain and high humidity. We fought humidity on/off during second half. Seeing was terrible the last hour. I had to make a slit mask for the 2.0 slit (10 minutes). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:40 dcamera -50( -254) -82 81 -0.6 2.9 3.2 2.8 2.0 -- 2.65 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 3 241 (WSW) 1133 cloudy none 17:00 11 284 (WNW) 1171 cloudy none 18:00 17 311 (NW) 943 mstly clr none 19:00 16 297 (WNW) 879 clear none 20:00 7 283 (WNW) 919 clear none 21:00 5 260 (W) 942 mstly cldy lt rain 22:00 6 84 (E) 744 mstly cldy none 23:00 18 82 (E) 1645 ptly cldy none 00:00 14 72 (ENE) 1495 clear humid 01:00 9 71 (ENE) 1442 clear none 02:00 1 199 (SSW) 1357 clear none 03:00 2 30 (NNE) 1162 clear humid 04:00 23 59 (ENE) 659 clear humid 05:00 20 76 (ENE) 320 clear none 06:00 16 69 (ENE) 380 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
