I opened, got focused, and my observer got on their target, and then the clouds rolled back in. Since there was precip earlier in this system, and radar was showing precip just to our N, I was conservative and closed. About an hour later the sky cleared again, but humidity was rising and close to limits. I decided to wait and 20 mins later humidity went over the limits and the clouds came back. We fought clouds and humidity for most of the night. I finially re-opened around 03:40, but we still fought humidity and I just pushed the limits since the primary was warm. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:48 AGILE 450(-1646) 211 65 3.3 5.9 6.2 5.9 3.6 sdss g 1.16 02:46 AGILE 575(-1681) 149 53 2.1 2.6 4.3 2.3 1.8 sdss g 1.28 03:45 AGILE 675(-1576) 237 33 2.0 2.1 3.8 1.8 1.7 sdss g 1.67 04:39 AGILE 775(-1537) 169 62 1.8 1.7 3.5 1.4 1.3 sdss g 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 11 237 (WSW) 201 cloudy none 17:00 10 213 (SSW) 192 cloudy lt rain 18:00 17 227 (SW) 250 cloudy none 19:00 20 220 (SW) 206 ptly cldy none 20:00 15 211 (SSW) 257 ptly cldy none 21:00 14 211 (SSW) 192 mstly cldy humid 22:00 12 223 (SW) 262 cloudy humid 23:00 7 236 (SW) 193 cloudy humid 00:00 6 265 (W) 230 cloudy humid 01:00 7 226 (SW) 233 mstly cldy humid 02:00 7 199 (SSW) 280 ptly cldy humid 03:00 8 222 (SW) 259 clear humid 04:00 9 231 (SW) 272 clear humid 05:00 10 227 (SW) 301 clear humid 06:00 8 219 (SW) 320 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
