Bothe gcamera and gcam nubs needed to restarted during checkout. This fixed the problem. I cleaned the smudge off the 0.9 arc sec DIS slit. I also re-installed the 2.0 arc sec slit in the empty slot. New Maskfiles for all slits taken and implemented as well. I labeled the back of the DIS pinhole mask (to prevent it from being installed the wrong way). Another nice photometric night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:07 ecamera 332( -501) 34 49 10.0 10.7 10.5 10.8 8.3 ND3 1.10 19:01 ecamera 311( -622) 14 53 10.0 8.9 9.1 8.8 7.6 ND4 1.00 19:24 dcamera 180( 270) -40 50 10.0 8.3 8.6 8.2 7.3 -- 1.56 23:28 SPIcam 354( 556) 226 47 10.0 7.5 8.0 7.5 7.9 sdss r 1.00 01:26 dcamera 239( 264) -22 52 10.0 7.1 7.5 6.9 6.7 -- 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 9 -5 2 351 (N) 193 clear none 17:00 9 -5 8 46 (NE) 189 clear none 18:00 8 -5 16 32 (NNE) 173 clear none 19:00 8 -5 14 31 (NNE) 116 clear none 20:00 7 -5 12 35 (NE) 141 clear none 21:00 8 -6 2 7 (N) 124 clear none 22:00 8 -7 12 26 (NNE) 113 clear none 23:00 9 -9 8 7 (N) 129 clear none 00:00 8 -7 10 17 (NNE) 101 clear none 01:00 7 -6 3 323 (NW) 143 clear none 02:00 7 -8 1 195 (SSW) 157 clear none 03:00 8 -5 2 214 (SW) 176 clear none 04:00 7 -5 2 196 (SSW) 179 clear none 05:00 7 -6 2 222 (SW) 170 clear none 06:00 6 -6 2 188 (S) 164 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
