Started tcc v1.0.5 for testing. Spot checks with NA2 Guider looked good. Spot checks with Echelle, updated pointing. Shack Hartmann collimation tests (Russet came in to do this since she couldn't VNC from home). After collimation update, Russet fixed pointing on NA2, then fixed pointing on Shack Hartmann. Pinhole - B1200/R1200 4450 6950 HeNe 1x60s I didn't get to DIS Throughput tonight since the dis spectral focus took longer than I anticipated and I needed to remove the pinhole mask for an empty slot in the filter wheel. TCC V1.0.5 is still running, further checkout/testing tomorrow I suspect. A detailed log of all tonights festivities sent to the engineers. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:59 NA2gdr 3674(33674) 178 70 10.0 7.7 7.7 7.2 6.5 R 1.10 02:07 shack 545( 1054) -50 59 10.0 6.0 6.4 6.0 6.1 -- 1.30 03:59 dcamera 325( 307) -121 60 10.0 6.5 6.7 6.4 7.3 -- 1.20 04:02 NA2gdr 1202(23202) -120 60 10.0 6.5 6.7 6.5 7.3 clear 1.00 04:29 dcamera 318( 327) -120 55 10.0 6.8 7.1 7.0 7.4 -- 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 10 -12 13 296 (WNW) 241 clear none 17:00 9 -10 11 296 (WNW) 249 clear none 18:00 7 -12 12 313 (NW) 90 clear none 19:00 6 -12 9 276 (W) 147 clear none 20:00 7 -11 8 284 (WNW) 156 ptly cldy none 21:00 7 -13 9 268 (W) 173 mstly clr none 22:00 6 -10 7 265 (W) 347 mstly clr none 23:00 7 -7 11 292 (WNW) 464 clear none 00:00 6 -7 12 299 (WNW) 392 clear none 01:00 7 -11 13 304 (NW) 287 clear none 02:00 6 -12 18 313 (NW) 174 clear none 03:00 7 -9 13 303 (WNW) 245 clear none 04:00 8 -9 9 358 (N) 156 clear none 05:00 8 -10 10 343 (NNW) 145 clear none 06:00 7 -9 14 337 (NNW) 192 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
