We gave up a little early, and switched to DIS. Unable to capture any stars after 15 minutes on sky, so we closed to wait out the clouds. No data was taken until the clouds cleared just past 21:00. We remained open the rest of the night with no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:34 dcamera 350( 169) 188 72 3.6 3.4 3.7 3.6 3.4 -- 1.16 01:48 ecamera 387( -869) 135 50 2.5 2.5 3.0 2.6 2.2 ND2 1.09 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 3 -3 24 224 (SW) 1807 ptly cldy none 17:00 4 -3 24 222 (SW) 1848 ptly cldy none 18:00 3 -3 25 234 (SW) 1263 mstly cldy none 19:00 3 -3 5 228 (SW) 1327 cloudy none 20:00 4 -3 15 244 (WSW) 1298 cloudy none 21:00 4 -3 21 229 (SW) 1336 cloudy none 22:00 4 -3 22 239 (WSW) 1144 ptly cldy none 23:00 4 -2 28 238 (WSW) 1116 mstly clr none 00:00 3 -2 16 229 (SW) 1099 clear none 01:00 2 -3 13 257 (WSW) 1091 clear none 02:00 2 -2 14 255 (WSW) 1148 clear none 03:00 2 -2 15 262 (W) 1152 clear none 04:00 1 -2 10 258 (WSW) 1228 clear none 05:00 2 -2 13 242 (WSW) 1312 clear none 06:00 2 -2 10 260 (W) 1210 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
