It was sitting just above the 1.5 arc sec slit. The DIS slit mask for the 1.5 arc sec slit also seems a little off (2 pixels high) for some reason. I needed to take 5 mins of observation time to create a new 1.5 arc sec slit mask as boresight guiding kept failing. No other telescope problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:29 dcamera 315( 390) 162 69 7.2 8.3 7.9 8.0 7.0 -- 1.20 21:55 ecamera 409( -631) 269 39 6.5 6.4 6.9 6.5 6.3 ND2 1.40 23:21 SPIcam 402( 514) 349 56 5.8 6.0 6.4 6.0 5.8 sdss r 1.50 01:23 dcamera 288( 202) 56 66 5.3 5.2 5.7 5.2 5.2 -- 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 10 -10 14 293 (WNW) 317 ptly cldy none 17:00 8 -10 9 283 (WNW) 315 ptly cldy none 18:00 7 -10 15 284 (WNW) 305 ptly cldy none 19:00 7 -9 13 265 (W) 442 ptly cldy none 20:00 7 -9 20 267 (W) 432 mstly clr none 21:00 7 -10 13 255 (WSW) 339 mstly clr none 22:00 6 -10 18 277 (W) 247 mstly clr none 23:00 6 -10 19 295 (WNW) 294 mstly clr none 00:00 6 -10 10 324 (NW) 255 mstly clr none 01:00 5 -9 16 308 (NW) 304 ptly cldy none 02:00 5 -9 13 311 (NW) 295 ptly cldy none 03:00 5 -10 15 283 (WNW) 303 mstly clr none 04:00 5 -11 13 298 (WNW) 279 ptly cldy none 05:00 4 -11 16 321 (NW) 235 ptly cldy none 06:00 5 -13 15 283 (WNW) 136 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
