I did not take darks. Frost accumulated on the secondary mirror at the beginning of the night. The mirror covers for the primary remained shut but the primary may also have accrued frost. While it was clear tonight after 19:00, we did not open on account of the effects from the blizzard which ended this morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 15 14 6 96 (E) 150 mstly cldy humid 17:00 16 14 9 36 (NE) 175 mstly cldy humid 18:00 15 14 8 82 (E) 155 ptly cldy humid 19:00 17 15 12 69 (ENE) 108 mstly clr humid 20:00 17 15 9 86 (E) 83 clear humid 21:00 18 17 7 13 (NNE) 81 clear humid 22:00 20 18 17 59 (ENE) 50 clear humid 23:00 20 18 2 107 (ESE) 40 clear humid 00:00 20 18 1 204 (SSW) 22 clear humid 01:00 19 17 2 204 (SSW) 34 clear humid 02:00 19 17 2 236 (SW) 30 clear humid 03:00 19 17 1 197 (SSW) 17 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
