We were unable to open due to snow and wind. There were multiple power outages. The Snow program was run to rotate the dome but had to be discontinued at 02:30 due to the high winds. Some snow was blown onto the dome floor through cracks and crevasses around the doors and louvers. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 16 12 25 77 (ENE) 1021 cloudy snow 17:00 15 12 26 68 (ENE) 1097 cloudy snow 18:00 14 10 42 63 (ENE) 1178 cloudy snow 19:00 13 9 37 74 (ENE) 2862 cloudy snow 20:00 10 9 41 83 (E) 3783 cloudy snow 21:00 8 11 43 74 (ENE) 8663 cloudy snow 22:00 9 7 38 74 (ENE) 2274 cloudy snow 23:00 8 6 70 70 (ENE) 3228 cloudy snow 00:00 8 9 64 69 (ENE) 3077 cloudy snow 01:00 8 5 47 74 (ENE) 2379 cloudy snow 02:00 7 5 40 68 (ENE) 1514 cloudy snow 03:00 8 4 57 85 (E) 1620 cloudy snow 04:00 8 5 45 79 (E) 1424 cloudy snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
