ARCTIC images were corrupted (this seems to be a pattern lately), fixed by restarting the ICC program. Patchy to thick clouds at sunset permitted me to get twilight flats with ARCTIC which can be paired with last night's standard star data. I made two attemps to get a pointing model but didn't get more than a few stars before the clouds thickened up. I checked DIS spectrograph focus, which did not need to be adjusted. Later, we had heavy rain and a power outage which switched over to generator power at 23:18. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 33 15 210 (SSW) 239 ptly cldy none 17:00 44 33 20 223 (SW) 367 ptly cldy none 18:00 44 35 20 200 (SSW) 525 cloudy none 19:00 44 34 26 198 (SSW) 402 ptly cldy none 20:00 46 32 27 195 (SSW) 309 cloudy lt rain 21:00 39 39 22 215 (SW) 226199 cloudy rain 22:00 41 41 19 206 (SSW) 5964 cloudy rain 23:00 42 42 22 209 (SSW) 27367 cloudy rain 00:00 41 41 32 227 (SW) 44572 cloudy rain 01:00 41 42 31 233 (SW) 23778 cloudy rain 02:00 40 40 22 250 (WSW) 10746 cloudy rain 03:00 39 39 25 218 (SW) 30373 cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
