Kaike started the night with his program on DIS (NM05) with a slight delay. Attempted ARCTIC standards, but were plagued by clouds and ICC issues. Checked collimation, but did not adjust. Went back to ARCTIC standards until clouds stopped us. Zerod the rotator, and reset axes controllers. Pointing model failed due to heavy clouds. Let Candace test an observing script for future observations. Tspec was happy, and seemed to stay happy throughout. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:27 dcamera 301( 141) 235 53 4.8 6.6 6.7 6.6 5.6 -- 1.44 20:25 arctic 446( 386) 299 38 5.6 5.3 5.8 5.6 5.5 SDSS-r 2.00 21:23 shack 731( 1048) 32 60 4.9 5.2 5.7 5.5 5.1 -- 1.50 21:47 arctic 530( 445) -28 55 5.7 5.2 5.6 5.2 5.2 SDSS-r 0.80 03:13 guider 400( 319) 182 53 5.7 5.2 5.6 5.3 5.2 Clear 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 15 8 302 (WNW) 404 clear none 17:00 41 12 7 278 (W) 435 clear none 18:00 40 17 9 262 (W) 583 clear none 19:00 41 16 10 261 (W) 531 clear none 20:00 42 10 18 262 (W) 355 clear none 21:00 42 5 15 269 (W) 238 clear none 22:00 42 12 19 267 (W) 285 clear none 23:00 42 16 22 265 (W) 405 clear none 00:00 42 17 17 267 (W) 434 mstly clr none 01:00 42 18 18 270 (W) 380 mstly clr none 02:00 41 17 17 265 (W) 352 ptly cldy none 03:00 43 17 12 266 (W) 446 ptly cldy none 04:00 41 17 12 264 (W) 341 mstly cldy none 05:00 41 18 13 260 (W) 374 mstly cldy none 06:00 42 15 18 252 (WSW) 250 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
