The telescope and all the instruments in use worked perfectly. It wasn't entirely peaceful, though. NICFPS needed an init at the beginning of the night due to corrupted images; this was probably a coincidence and not related to yesterday's pressure spike. And the ARCSAT dome had some serious troubles, but fortunately with the weather so stable it was a viable option to open the dome manually and leave it all night, so we fell back on that after failing to get the dome working for real. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:24 ecamera 784( -603) 128 34 0.8 2.8 2.6 2.4 1.6 ND3 0.98 23:14 APOLLO 409( 921) 282 46 1.7 2.0 2.4 2.1 1.8 530 1.20 00:15 arctic 509( 262) 214 48 2.8 1.9 2.2 1.9 2.1 r 1.03 02:19 ecamera 526( -885) 284 65 3.3 2.8 3.1 2.9 3.2 ND3 0.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 32 19 0 280 (W) 1281 clear none 17:00 34 15 4 274 (W) 383 clear none 18:00 33 13 2 228 (SW) 213 clear none 19:00 35 11 2 322 (NW) 226 clear none 20:00 35 9 5 346 (NNW) 195 clear none 21:00 35 1 3 30 (NNE) 155 clear none 22:00 37 -1 12 5 (N) 129 clear none 23:00 36 3 17 10 (N) 136 clear none 00:00 36 -1 23 27 (NNE) 122 clear none 01:00 37 -10 16 19 (NNE) 112 clear none 02:00 39 -10 20 33 (NNE) 146 clear none 03:00 38 -9 14 47 (NE) 142 clear none 04:00 39 -8 15 39 (NE) 135 clear none 05:00 40 -7 13 59 (ENE) 136 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
