We were open all night but high thin clouds appeared after midnight and persisted until dawn. The Ion pump on NICFPs spiked at 19:49 (UT151121 02:49). The temperature did not rise on the instrument itself. After un-mounting the instrument I tapped on the steel cylinder coming from the square magnet and the pressure decreased to safe levels. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:11 APOLLO 650( 1535) 50 41 7.2 9.2 8.8 9.2 8.0 530 1.50 18:30 NICFPS 471( 851) 125 47 7.1 7.3 7.6 6.9 6.9 Ks 0.95 00:17 ecamera 463( -916) 351 68 3.9 3.4 4.1 3.5 3.4 ND2 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 15 12 1 (N) 81 clear none 17:00 45 16 9 12 (NNE) 63 clear none 18:00 45 17 14 338 (NNW) 69 mstly clr none 19:00 45 18 12 341 (NNW) 106 mstly clr none 20:00 44 18 18 334 (NNW) 108 mstly clr none 21:00 41 18 8 292 (WNW) 222 mstly clr none 22:00 41 19 16 10 (N) 270 clear none 23:00 39 19 24 23 (NNE) 300 mstly clr none 00:00 38 22 21 43 (NE) 137 clear none 01:00 40 18 22 23 (NNE) 130 clear none 02:00 43 1 18 59 (ENE) 118 mstly clr none 03:00 42 -6 14 21 (NNE) 220 mstly clr none 04:00 33 1 18 70 (ENE) 218 mstly clr none 05:00 29 15 16 80 (E) 316 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
