Ecam was not working properly but I did not notice the error until we went on sky. The night started cold and windy. We had to close due to wind at 19:42. We reopened at 00:57 but closed again at 02:00 due to wind. There was a power outage at 19:36, likely due to the wind. NC01 quit at 05:08 as there was not enough time to run their project. The DIS Slitviewer shutter was not closing during UW07 program. Ecam images were corrupted but was resolved through a power cycle during NC01 program. Junbo Zhang was an untrained observer for NC01. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NC01 E I/S 01:20 01:25 ecam images corrupted, power cycled ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:34 dcamera 457( -221) 65 82 -3.8 -3.3 -2.3 -3.1 -3.7 -- 1.39 01:11 SPIcam 657( 46) 28 67 -5.3 -5.1 -4.2 -4.9 -5.3 SDSS r 1.90 01:30 ecamera 663(-1164) 13 81 -5.4 -5.3 -4.5 -5.2 -5.4 clear 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 26 20 10 336 (NNW) 419 clear none 17:00 26 16 17 338 (NNW) 572 clear none 18:00 24 17 14 336 (NNW) 408 clear none 19:00 24 15 9 4 (N) 391 clear none 20:00 24 15 26 24 (NNE) 386 clear none 21:00 24 15 34 8 (N) 325 clear none 22:00 23 14 34 12 (NNE) 278 clear none 23:00 23 14 38 21 (NNE) 303 clear none 00:00 24 11 28 11 (N) 249 clear none 01:00 22 13 21 30 (NNE) 283 clear none 02:00 25 12 14 6 (N) 172 clear none 03:00 26 13 35 4 (N) 114 clear none 04:00 26 14 17 27 (NNE) 97 clear none 05:00 27 14 21 3 (N) 88 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
