Humidity was high but we were able to open for one hour before shutting down. The rest of the night continued with high humidity and some rain. We used this time to continue training Candace. We calibrated DIS grating set 2, analyzed pinhole exposures, and changed the filter wheel. No problems were seen in DIS or Tspec exposures. We shut down at 05:15 due to weather. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:26 tcamera 569( 656) 13 60 6.1 6.3 7.5 6.4 6.3 KS 3.08 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 45 1 232 (SW) 97359 mstly clr none 17:00 43 42 8 79 (E) 106 mstly clr none 18:00 44 40 14 73 (ENE) 87 mstly clr none 19:00 42 39 21 63 (ENE) 99 mstly clr none 20:00 42 39 20 74 (ENE) 127 mstly clr humid 21:00 42 40 13 76 (ENE) 124 mstly clr humid 22:00 43 40 24 65 (ENE) 140 ptly cldy humid 23:00 42 40 23 72 (ENE) 156 ptly cldy humid 00:00 43 40 21 72 (ENE) 130 ptly cldy humid 01:00 43 41 17 77 (ENE) 158 mstly cldy rain 02:00 43 41 17 83 (E) 129 mstly cldy rain 03:00 43 41 14 80 (E) 122 mstly cldy rain 04:00 43 41 21 61 (ENE) 128 cloudy rain 05:00 43 41 16 53 (NE) 135 cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
