Observing Specialist: R.McMillan
Weather was not horrible first half, but there were many looming threats so I delayed opening until I felt safe.  The dewpoint was higher than the log shows, since one sensor was stuck, but fortunately the other sensors were working.  The feeling-safe period only lasted for about an hour before another threat started to loom.  Then we had some more cloud-and-radar watching before another brief window shortly before morning twilight.
While closed, I did some checkout, focus, and characterization of DIS, which appears to be in good shape! It does need a brief checkout on-sky for final confirmation, but hopefully it's ready to go.  I also played with Triplespec, which was in a good state earlier in the day but then went into a bad state again and refused to come out.
