We had a clearing (sucker hole) around midnight but humidity was still too high to open safely. I opened around 01:35 and clouds swamped us just as I started my focus sweep! I closed again as I wasn't sure it these clouds were threatening or not. We never opened again and I gave up at 05:00 with rain nearby. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 41 12 89 (E) 544 cloudy lt rain 17:00 48 41 15 180 (S) 580 cloudy rain 18:00 48 47 21 195 (SSW) 1032 cloudy rain 19:00 45 44 50 200 (SSW) 1003 cloudy rain 20:00 47 35 19 192 (SSW) 175 cloudy rain 21:00 44 40 10 208 (SSW) 268 cloudy rain 22:00 45 39 13 188 (S) 294 cloudy rain 23:00 44 41 16 161 (SSE) 230 cloudy rain 00:00 42 41 15 148 (SSE) 3315 mstly clr humid 01:00 43 39 7 96 (E) 218 mstly clr none 02:00 46 37 1 175 (S) 310 mstly cldy none 03:00 46 37 2 196 (SSW) 334 mstly cldy none 04:00 45 37 11 131 (SE) 323 ptly cldy lt rain 05:00 42 38 9 173 (S) 227 ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
