They cleared around 2am. Seeing was good overall, despite the clouds. ARCTIC ran well in general, but the Adler group discovered an inconsistency in the header time stamps. This made it unusable for their science, so we switched to SPIcam for the remainder of their run. They are sending details to Joe and Conor. Ecam froze 4 times in the last hour and half of observing. PR submitted. Tspec seemed to be mostly happy tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:21 arctic 135( 838) 207 38 14.7 16.1 15.6 15.4 14.8 SDSS r 0.86 22:49 arctic 195( 733) -23 61 13.5 13.4 13.9 13.4 13.4 SDSS r 1.02 00:49 SPIcam 450( 768) -3 69 13.2 13.1 13.6 13.2 13.3 SDSS r 1.00 01:16 ecamera 485( -399) 67 59 13.1 12.9 13.5 12.9 12.8 Clear 0.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp C Dewp C MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 32 9 243 (WSW) 366 mstly clr none 17:00 59 33 8 254 (WSW) 417 mstly clr none 18:00 59 32 5 274 (W) 426 mstly clr none 19:00 57 30 3 233 (SW) 448 ptly cldy none 20:00 58 26 1 164 (SSE) 447 ptly cldy none 21:00 58 14 3 146 (SE) 259 ptly cldy none 22:00 57 18 5 183 (S) 326 ptly cldy none 23:00 57 24 9 183 (S) 659 mstly clr none 00:00 56 26 7 187 (S) 802 mstly clr none 01:00 56 30 6 182 (S) 739 clear none 02:00 56 30 9 181 (S) 826 clear none 03:00 55 30 7 183 (S) 735 clear none 04:00 55 27 9 181 (S) 424 clear none 05:00 54 28 6 182 (S) 498 clear none 06:00 54 30 6 183 (S) 573 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
