See PR. NA2 rotator wrap cord came unplugged. Initially thought to be a communication problem, I spent too long trying to get the rotator moving in talk2boxes. Was directed to reconnect the pink wrap cord and got back on sky quickly after that. Took a few "axis init" for first slew. Clear night with good seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AD02 Spicam T/H 23:25 00:08 NA2 rotator unplugged ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:51 SPIcam 185( 127) -87 47 1.8 2.4 2.2 1.9 1.5 SDSS-i 1.65 00:14 SPIcam 350( 300) -142 60 3.8 2.9 3.4 3.1 3.4 SDSS-r 1.00 01:27 ecamera 322( -790) 121 61 4.2 2.6 3.2 2.4 3.0 ND2 1.15 03:56 ecamera 397( -865) 80 48 4.3 2.3 2.7 2.2 3.0 ND4 1.17 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 0 5 274 (W) 22 clear none 17:00 37 -2 1 266 (W) 17 clear none 18:00 33 -6 8 9 (N) 19 clear none 19:00 37 -1 7 315 (NW) 27 clear none 20:00 37 -2 10 320 (NW) 7 clear none 21:00 38 -1 8 314 (NW) 14 clear none 22:00 38 -1 5 353 (N) 13 clear none 23:00 38 -1 8 356 (N) 16 clear none 00:00 39 0 6 340 (NNW) 17 clear none 01:00 39 0 9 325 (NW) 26 clear none 02:00 39 0 7 349 (N) 24 clear none 03:00 38 0 6 298 (WNW) 13 clear none 04:00 40 1 5 289 (WNW) 11 clear none 05:00 37 -1 4 260 (W) 7 clear none 06:00 36 -2 6 267 (W) 12 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
