That trick stopped working around the time the clouds started rolling in, so we decided it was time to close up. All in all, we thought things went very well for the visiting instrument. Russet sent out a report about working with that instrument. The rest of the night was foggy, cloudy and humid. We never opened back up. We gave up at 5:15. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:35 pao 350( 177) 30 35 -1.6 -1.3 -0.8 -1.4 -1.8 Clear 1.40 23:04 NA2gdr -1761(28238) 78 74 -1.3 -1.7 -1.2 -1.8 -1.6 Clear 1.04 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 32 10 221 (SW) 339 clear humid 17:00 33 27 11 209 (SSW) 302 clear humid 18:00 30 27 7 197 (SSW) 320 clear humid 19:00 30 26 9 215 (SW) 290 clear humid 20:00 30 25 8 222 (SW) 304 clear humid 21:00 30 24 12 228 (SW) 269 clear humid 22:00 30 24 8 233 (SW) 255 clear humid 23:00 30 22 8 217 (SW) 284 ptly cldy humid 00:00 31 24 5 262 (W) 307 cloudy humid 01:00 32 23 10 240 (WSW) 310 cloudy humid 02:00 32 25 6 223 (SW) 338 cloudy humid 03:00 31 25 6 189 (S) 326 ptly cldy humid 04:00 31 25 8 189 (S) 366 mstly cldy humid 05:00 30 24 8 225 (SW) 359 ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
