ARCSAT was having issues tonight. After the observer gave up I tried further investingating the problems. Unfortunately the humidity closed the 3.5m which closed ARCsat. Our secondary and structure temps were lower than the outside temps (and over the closure limits for most of the time we were closed tonight). My 2nd half observer gave up around 04:50. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:29 ecamera 422( -424) 29 55 8.3 10.6 12.1 10.4 85.0 ND5 1.40 22:25 ecamera 633( -333) 48 54 8.5 8.3 10.4 7.9 85.0 ND3 1.10 01:56 SPIcam 587(790) 32 52 8.9 7.7 10.2 7.5 85.0 MSSSO B 1.10 01:59 NA2gdr 721(30721) 32 52 8.8 7.6 10.1 7.4 85.0 clear 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 45 9 99 (E) 344 cloudy lt rain 17:00 48 45 10 91 (E) 266 cloudy humid 18:00 50 45 4 86 (E) 435 mstly clr humid 19:00 48 44 11 85 (E) 424 clear humid 20:00 46 44 10 95 (E) 516 clear humid 21:00 46 42 7 108 (ESE) 535 clear humid 22:00 46 42 4 88 (E) 591 clear humid 23:00 47 43 1 296 (WNW) 523 clear humid 00:00 47 42 1 322 (NW) 314 clear humid 01:00 47 42 3 342 (NNW) 406 clear humid 02:00 48 42 1 280 (W) 386 clear humid 03:00 47 41 1 313 (NW) 460 clear humid 04:00 47 41 11 51 (NE) 389 clear humid 05:00 47 41 7 84 (E) 375 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
