Falling for some sucker holes, we opened at 02:10, but were soon clouded out, and even lost V=5 mag stars. At this point, both 3.5m and 0.5m decided to close after an unproductive night. Waited until 05:00 to fill NICFPS. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:24 NICFPS -94( 802) 217 69 13.2 14.6 15.3 14.1 12.6 MK-J 0.85 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 52 11 315 (NW) 392 ptly cldy none 17:00 61 51 4 304 (NW) 456 mstly cldy none 18:00 60 50 9 356 (N) 479 mstly cldy none 19:00 58 51 8 354 (N) 623 mstly cldy none 20:00 58 50 16 129 (SE) 614 cloudy none 21:00 57 50 14 123 (ESE) 534 mstly cldy none 22:00 56 45 18 151 (SSE) 214 cloudy none 23:00 57 43 9 191 (S) 125 cloudy none 00:00 56 44 8 188 (S) 183 mstly cldy none 01:00 55 45 6 224 (SW) 268 ptly cldy none 02:00 54 45 5 161 (SSE) 299 ptly cldy none 03:00 56 46 6 190 (S) 243 mstly cldy none 04:00 56 45 4 210 (SSW) 304 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
