And then the storms closed in. Only light rain off and on, but a very impressive lightning show over the basin. One of the second half observers, working from Europe, was unable to connect via TUI although other network indicators were good. We made plans for her to observe via Skype, but it never became necessary. The 3.5m observers gave up by 4 am and the ARCSAT observer an hour later. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 72 50 ?? 601 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 47 ?? 568 ptly cldy none 18:00 69 49 ?? 448 ptly cldy none 19:00 65 49 ?? 566 ptly cldy none 20:00 61 50 ?? 628 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 53 ?? 800 cloudy lt rain 22:00 57 54 ?? 1018 cloudy lt rain 23:00 57 54 ?? 1050 cloudy none 00:00 55 52 ?? 355 cloudy none 01:00 54 53 ?? 382 cloudy lt rain 02:00 54 52 ?? 435 cloudy none 03:00 53 53 ?? 660 cloudy none 04:00 52 50 ?? 535 cloudy rain 05:00 53 47 ?? 337 cloudy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
