Even better, the seeing was good. This allowed us to get the highest priority goals on the engineering list: collimation of both primary and secondary mirrors, pointing model, and DIS focus tests. Altogether, it was a very productive night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM = --------------------------------------------------------------------------= 23:05 SHACK 325( 1422) -33 60 17.7 17.5 17.7 17.0 16.8 - 1.00 02:41 dcamera 295( 824) 288 79 18.1 17.3 17.9 17.2 17.4 - 0.94 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 47 ?? 755 mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 69 49 ?? 755 mstly cldy lt rain 18:00 72 49 ?? 755 mstly cldy none 19:00 64 48 ?? 755 mstly cldy lt rain 20:00 66 45 ?? 755 ptly cldy none 21:00 67 44 ?? 755 mstly clr none 22:00 67 44 ?? 755 mstly clr none 23:00 63 46 ?? 755 mstly clr none 00:00 63 45 ?? 755 mstly clr none 01:00 63 43 ?? 755 mstly clr none 02:00 63 44 ?? 755 mstly clr none 03:00 64 43 ?? 755 mstly clr none 04:00 65 43 ?? 755 mstly clr none 05:00 60 44 ?? 755 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
