After the instrument change there was just time to focus SPIcam before I decided a nearby storm was too threatening. We reopened a few hours later and struggled with clouds but managed to get some data, at least. By second half the clouds had thinned out and everything went more smoothly. Everything worked well except the sky. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:42 SPIcam 654( 1438) -31 69 18.4 19.0 19.5 18.9 18.3 g 1.12 00:18 ecamera 610( 133) -19 58 17.8 18.0 18.4 17.8 17.8 ND2 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 32 8 296 (WNW) 821 ptly cldy none 17:00 72 31 13 326 (NW) 722 ptly cldy none 18:00 74 32 18 287 (WNW) 745 mstly clr none 19:00 73 32 6 247 (WSW) 717 mstly clr none 20:00 68 30 10 228 (SW) 807 ptly cldy none 21:00 68 29 19 257 (WSW) 1192 ptly cldy none 22:00 66 28 16 245 (WSW) 949 ptly cldy none 23:00 66 28 8 260 (W) 1335 ptly cldy none 00:00 64 27 5 232 (SW) 1068 ptly cldy none 01:00 66 29 7 356 (N) 1041 ptly cldy none 02:00 64 30 13 334 (NNW) 863 ptly cldy none 03:00 62 30 8 341 (NNW) 850 mstly clr none 04:00 61 29 2 349 (N) 677 mstly clr none 05:00 60 29 5 355 (N) 611 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
