Seeing and humidity varied with wind direction. During evening checkout an error in dismounting NICFPS caused delays in getting DIS mounted, but with help from Bill we were able to get going right around sunset. There were a few harmonic hums from the azimuth while tracking targets in the southwest, but it never got bad enough to stop tracking. Everything else worked very well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:42 dcamera 575( 1080) -62 75 13.3 16.8 16.9 17.2 13.7 - 2.50 20:37 dcamera 432( 823) -108 76 12.6 14.5 14.8 14.2 12.9 - 1.49 00:31 NICFPS 621( 1451) 47 48 14.9 13.0 13.6 13.1 13.7 Ks 0.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 39 10 110 (ESE) 907 mstly cldy none 17:00 64 39 13 68 (ENE) 835 mstly cldy none 18:00 69 39 11 252 (WSW) 1125 ptly cldy none 19:00 68 41 4 253 (WSW) 1045 ptly cldy none 20:00 57 47 10 88 (E) 1488 mstly clr none 21:00 55 47 19 72 (ENE) 1217 mstly clr none 22:00 54 47 14 83 (E) 922 mstly clr none 23:00 53 47 10 79 (E) 861 mstly clr none 00:00 54 44 6 38 (NE) 995 mstly clr none 01:00 59 42 1 256 (WSW) 1148 mstly clr none 02:00 58 42 1 255 (WSW) 1137 ptly cldy none 03:00 56 42 5 262 (W) 1046 ptly cldy none 04:00 56 43 5 252 (WSW) 1146 mstly clr none 05:00 54 44 8 256 (WSW) 1217 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
