We had a short time of high humidity and potential fog, but it passed without getting too dangerous. The seeing was EXCELLENT before that wave of humidity came in, then it was highly variale, from 1.3 to 3". Russet made a fairly significant change to pointing on NA2. No other problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:47 dcamera 531( 1171) -62 75 16.8 19.5 18.7 19.5 17.1 -- 1.02 21:04 NICFPS 441( 1493) -88 67 16.9 17.7 17.6 17.1 16.5 MK-J 0.70 00:25 NICFPS 490( 1388) 71 31 13.6 13.7 14.2 13.8 13.5 MK-Ks 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 34 19 273 (W) 869 mstly clr none 17:00 70 32 13 275 (W) 823 mstly clr none 18:00 70 31 11 263 (W) 808 mstly clr none 19:00 67 31 8 275 (W) 773 mstly clr none 20:00 63 32 5 339 (NNW) 848 mstly clr none 21:00 62 31 3 355 (N) 719 clear none 22:00 62 31 3 322 (NW) 772 clear none 23:00 58 38 14 125 (SE) 1232 clear none 00:00 57 38 18 119 (ESE) 1637 clear none 01:00 57 38 19 124 (SE) 994 clear none 02:00 52 47 21 132 (SE) 1814 mstly clr humid 03:00 53 44 18 148 (SSE) 2018 mstly clr humid 04:00 55 42 14 175 (S) 1382 mstly clr none 05:00 55 41 11 158 (SSE) 1223 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
