Otherwise, it was a very productive night of beating up on the new TCC. We solved some problems, and found some new ones. We did have many motion errors in az, and Russell tried fixing them in the TCC. We let BIll know what the problem was, and tried calling Fritz. We hobbled along with them though, with things going well for the most part. These problems continued after we switched back to the old TCC. We were not able to get a pointing model with the old TCC because of them, and the gcam wouldn't talk to the TCC. In the afternoon, zeroes the rotator and reset the axes controllers. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 72 27 22 251 (WSW) 1528 mstly clr none 17:00 77 29 28 264 (W) 1939 mstly clr none 18:00 73 28 25 251 (WSW) 1641 mstly clr none 19:00 72 27 21 265 (W) 1538 mstly clr none 20:00 68 26 17 270 (W) 1432 mstly clr none 21:00 65 28 7 298 (WNW) 1090 mstly clr none 22:00 65 29 9 267 (W) 997 mstly clr none 23:00 63 30 12 266 (W) 1080 mstly clr none 00:00 62 30 1 157 (SSE) 1074 mstly clr none 01:00 61 31 9 278 (W) 1087 mstly clr none 02:00 60 32 10 287 (WNW) 1094 mstly clr none 03:00 59 33 14 339 (NNW) 1230 ptly cldy none 04:00 59 33 15 325 (NW) 1156 mstly cldy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
