We were able to open a little after midnight with mixed results. After a few hours, things cleared up nicely. Remaining clouds held off until morning. While we were open, the seeing started off terrible, but improved as we went along. IT was around 1.3 when we ended. No other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:48 dcamera 327( 644) 216 65 11.9 13.1 13.6 13.0 12.0 -- 2.17 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 31 10 109 (ESE) 448 ptly cldy none 17:00 60 31 10 90 (E) 402 mstly clr none 18:00 64 31 9 121 (ESE) 667 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 31 7 148 (SSE) 677 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 31 12 88 (E) 461 mstly cldy none 21:00 57 31 13 82 (E) 639 mstly cldy none 22:00 56 31 15 77 (ENE) 797 mstly cldy none 23:00 55 31 14 81 (E) 853 mstly cldy none 00:00 54 31 15 92 (E) 853 ptly cldy none 01:00 53 30 14 81 (E) 779 ptly cldy none 02:00 53 31 17 77 (ENE) 726 mstly clr none 03:00 56 30 7 73 (ENE) 725 mstly clr none 04:00 54 31 10 92 (E) 821 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
