The slit was stuck on the 1.5 arc sec slit when we got on the sky, even though the 5 arc slit was in place. At the start of the 2nd program, I again needed to restart the dcam Nubs to get it to now read the correct mask file (this time stuck on 5 arc sec slit mask). I mounted GIFS at the end of the night for day testing. I restarted the SPIcam darks at the end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:29 dcamera 643( 865) 60 76 10.7 11.3 11.3 11.1 10.6 -- 1.50 21:17 dcamera 608( 811) 9 75 11.1 10.9 11.1 10.9 10.9 -- 1.45 01:14 dcamera 548( 725) -30 60 10.5 10.2 10.8 10.1 10.2 -- 1.45 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 31 9 269 (W) 590 mstly clr none 17:00 52 31 19 334 (NNW) 772 clear none 18:00 53 29 14 348 (NNW) 527 clear none 19:00 53 28 15 343 (NNW) 402 clear none 20:00 52 28 4 356 (N) 389 clear none 21:00 52 28 17 15 (NNE) 380 clear none 22:00 53 29 9 342 (NNW) 302 clear none 23:00 52 29 5 345 (NNW) 347 mstly clr none 00:00 51 28 1 280 (W) 368 mstly clr none 01:00 51 28 4 266 (W) 374 mstly clr none 02:00 52 28 4 332 (NNW) 390 clear none 03:00 52 28 8 283 (WNW) 328 clear none 04:00 52 28 7 322 (NW) 424 clear none 05:00 51 28 5 333 (NNW) 415 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
