Restarting dcam read the correct mask file in. Cloudy for most of the first half of the night. We finally opened around 00:40 We checked collimation with SPIcam at program change, things looked ok with collimation. Needed to power cycle gcamera. Became inop and Non-responsive to pings in the middle of observations. Approx 09:00UT. Power cycling fixed problem. No problems the remainder of the night. Telescope seemed to recover fine from last nights events. Restarted 900s SPIcam darks at the end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:48 SPIcam 511( 742) 162 60 7.7 8.3 8.9 8.3 7.5 SDSS r 2.10 00:50 NA2gdr 54(30054) 162 60 7.8 8.3 8.9 8.3 7.5 clear 1.40 01:21 SPIcam 566( 753) 4 67 6.4 7.6 8.2 7.3 6.5 SDSS r 1.35 01:22 NA2gdr 638(30638) 4 67 6.3 7.5 8.1 7.3 6.4 clear 1.48 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 18 21 199 (SSW) 1207 cloudy none 17:00 55 20 14 234 (SW) 1108 cloudy none 18:00 51 22 13 235 (SW) 1548 mstly cldy none 19:00 49 27 20 215 (SW) 2192 mstly cldy none 20:00 49 25 9 226 (SW) 1806 cloudy none 21:00 50 22 10 264 (W) 1932 cloudy none 22:00 48 18 14 300 (WNW) 1424 mstly cldy none 23:00 47 12 13 278 (W) 1192 mstly cldy none 00:00 46 15 13 291 (WNW) 1463 ptly cldy none 01:00 45 15 13 264 (W) 1409 mstly clr none 02:00 43 25 16 291 (WNW) 1204 clear none 03:00 44 20 12 290 (WNW) 1362 clear none 04:00 44 19 14 295 (WNW) 1325 clear none 05:00 44 17 13 303 (WNW) 1298 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
