Second half started out with high humidity (unfortunately not reported by the 3.5m sensor, but by two others in agreement with each other) and with the remnants of the storms moving in unexpected directions. Finally a drier wind came up from the south and the clouds cleared away, and we were able to take advantage of unexpectedly good seeing, although it was hard to follow the focus changes with the telescope far from equilibrium because the fans were not running during the questionable weather. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:38 ecamera 388( -499) 125 77 9.7 10.1 12.1 9.9 9.6 Clear 1.15 04:04 APOLLO 650( 1533) 71 29 9.5 9.4 10.2 9.3 9.2 530 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 63 25 25 247 (WSW) 1080 cloudy none 17:00 60 27 13 207 (SSW) 1048 cloudy none 18:00 58 27 17 234 (SW) 1174 cloudy none 19:00 55 29 5 259 (W) 1543 cloudy lt rain 20:00 55 28 8 175 (S) 1297 cloudy none 21:00 53 30 6 254 (WSW) 1305 cloudy lt rain 22:00 50 32 19 210 (SSW) 1500 cloudy none 23:00 49 32 9 145 (SE) 1314 cloudy none 00:00 50 30 14 172 (S) 1406 mstly clr lightning 01:00 50 32 18 129 (SE) 1476 mstly clr humid 02:00 48 32 16 151 (SSE) 2772 ptly cldy humid 03:00 49 31 15 153 (SSE) 2170 mstly clr none 04:00 50 31 15 173 (S) 2013 clear none 05:00 49 31 13 183 (S) 2230 mstly clr none 06:00 47 31 10 177 (S) 2517 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
