PR sent. Checked temps and bias of chip. Looked ok. Russet adjusted pointing tonight. No pointing problems during rest of the nights observations. Dcam hung around midnight, restarted nubs fixed. Seeing was around 1.25 to 1.5 arc sec all night. I tweaked it on while observing. Echelle ion pump still pegged this morning but LN2 usage looked normal. No other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:31 dcamera 580( 725) 86 57 7.7 9.6 9.1 9.2 7.6 -- 1.25 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 23 8 269 (W) 4352 clear none 17:00 50 18 17 313 (NW) 3271 mstly clr none 18:00 50 15 2 332 (NNW) 2386 mstly clr none 19:00 48 14 9 306 (NW) 1914 clear none 20:00 46 14 7 334 (NNW) 1734 clear none 21:00 46 13 7 13 (NNE) 1718 clear none 22:00 46 12 4 352 (N) 1366 clear none 23:00 46 12 4 259 (W) 1493 clear none 00:00 44 14 10 183 (S) 3031 clear none 01:00 45 15 3 192 (SSW) 3207 clear none 02:00 44 14 6 275 (W) 3111 clear none 03:00 43 14 4 287 (WNW) 3344 clear none 04:00 45 13 7 262 (W) 3087 clear none 05:00 45 12 7 286 (WNW) 2918 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
