The winds and dust calmed down enough for us to open, although the clouds were too thick for NM07--we sat and watched the guider for a short time. Seeing was decent for the whole night. Except for the first 20 minutes, the night was good and productive. No problems with the drives. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:35 dcamera 454( 713) 8 56 9.4 11.8 12.1 12.1 9.8 -- 1.33 00:14 dcamera 542( 491) -110 78 5.8 5.9 6.5 5.7 5.6 -- 1.60 01:38 dcamera 519( 469) -112 34 5.2 5.1 5.7 5.0 5.0 -- 1.68 03:18 ecamera 731( -446) 116 65 4.5 4.3 5.0 4.3 4.2 Clear 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 11 29 254 (WSW) 3246 clear dust 17:00 57 12 27 255 (WSW) 2696 clear dust 18:00 56 13 19 257 (WSW) 2283 clear dust 19:00 53 11 17 270 (W) 4675 mstly clr dust 20:00 50 13 18 268 (W) 3360 ptly cldy dust 21:00 49 14 18 259 (W) 2593 ptly cldy dust 22:00 48 17 27 265 (W) 3275 mstly clr dust 23:00 46 12 32 299 (WNW) 2438 clear none 00:00 43 10 4 253 (WSW) 3283 clear none 01:00 43 9 6 358 (N) 3616 clear dust 02:00 42 7 1 92 (E) 3468 clear dust 03:00 41 5 14 325 (NW) 3415 clear dust 04:00 40 4 9 323 (NW) 3427 clear dust 05:00 39 4 15 350 (N) 3852 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
