They remianed high, but not too close to closure limits during first half. Dust counts spiked in 5 minutes during obersvation, so the mirror may be a little dusty tomorrow. Opened again at 00:53. Ended at 01:12. Closed for dust and nearby radar returns at 03:51. The weather did not improve enough for us to open the rest of the night. Completed fills, and called it a night at 06:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:27 ecamera 680( -212) -1 69 8.1 9.9 9.8 10.2 8.1 clear 1.80 00:55 ecamera 786( -264) -88 25 4.7 5.7 6.8 5.6 5.0 ND1 1.99 01:16 ecamera 849( -284) -50 70 4.3 5.2 6.5 5.0 4.5 ND1 1.46 02:30 ecamera 1174( -30) 55 62 1.9 3.8 6.0 3.4 2.6 ND1 2.19 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 10 21 270 (W) 2155 clear none 17:00 53 10 7 210 (SSW) 4055 mstly clr none 18:00 51 7 23 267 (W) 4942 mstly clr dust 19:00 50 8 32 255 (WSW) 14778 clear dust 20:00 47 8 21 254 (WSW) 4340 clear none 21:00 46 9 17 262 (W) 3672 mstly clr none 22:00 46 11 24 267 (W) 3658 clear none 23:00 45 13 21 248 (WSW) 4132 mstly clr dust 00:00 42 18 14 299 (WNW) 4974 mstly clr dust 01:00 40 19 11 303 (WNW) 3953 clear none 02:00 38 22 13 325 (NW) 3947 mstly clr none 03:00 35 22 6 5 (N) 4997 mstly cldy none 04:00 34 19 13 314 (NW) 5806 mstly cldy dust 05:00 33 18 14 15 (NNE) 6100 cloudy dust 06:00 32 19 10 319 (NW) 5920 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
