We were able to get on sky, and had decent seeing. The only guiding trouble we had was at ~6:00, at 12 degree twilight, when our faint guide stars appeared to fade out. NA2 guider. Images 289-293. I never saw NM03 successfully log in. It appeared that UV04, Izotov, was attempting to connect, but did not message or contact me. I allowed Joanne to continue observing through the end of the night. I called it 20 minutes before sunrise, not contacted by anyone from the NM03 ToO program. For this case, I did not log NM03, and left the time observed all to Joanne's program. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:37 SPIcam 550( 616) -2 20 3.8 3.8 4.3 3.9 3.8 SDSSr 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 13 33 221 (SW) 2022 cloudy none 17:00 55 13 19 219 (SW) 1935 cloudy none 18:00 51 9 25 240 (WSW) 2053 cloudy none 19:00 51 7 21 258 (WSW) 1782 cloudy none 20:00 50 7 18 259 (W) 1894 cloudy none 21:00 48 8 17 265 (W) 3973 cloudy none 22:00 47 7 19 274 (W) 1836 cloudy none 23:00 46 5 14 290 (WNW) 1057 cloudy none 00:00 45 5 20 287 (WNW) 1246 cloudy none 01:00 45 7 29 290 (WNW) 1219 cloudy none 02:00 43 8 13 272 (W) 1191 cloudy none 03:00 41 10 11 306 (NW) 1276 ptly cldy none 04:00 41 12 19 264 (W) 1207 mstly clr none 05:00 40 13 19 258 (WSW) 1329 mstly clr none 06:00 39 12 27 309 (NW) 1562 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
