PU01 didn't need all the time so I used the remainder for engineering/throughput measurements. I adjusted the boresight location to match the 1.5 arc sec slit in the configuration file. It may be off slightly for other slits. Seeing blew up at 05:00, >4 arc sec. Wind direction change to out of the east. I ran the NA2 guider for the throughput exposures. Seemed to guide much better tonight after Fritz fixed a few bugs in the code. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:48 dcamera 630( 725) 120 44 6.9 8.2 8.2 7.9 7.0 -- 1.60 22:13 dcamera 514( 472) 181 53 6.5 5.8 6.2 5.7 5.9 -- 1.40 02:13 dcamera 554( 479) 58 50 5.4 5.0 5.6 5.0 4.9 -- 1.55 04:24 dcamera 476( 333) 168 62 -0.1 3.9 4.5 4.3 1.0 -- 4.20 04:27 NA2gdr 2999(24999) 169 62 0.2 3.8 4.3 4.2 0.7 clear 4.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 15 17 269 (W) 1449 ptly cldy none 17:00 48 14 18 257 (WSW) 1415 ptly cldy none 18:00 48 13 22 258 (WSW) 918 ptly cldy none 19:00 47 14 16 265 (W) 952 ptly cldy none 20:00 44 12 19 264 (W) 3142 mstly cldy none 21:00 44 11 17 272 (W) 862 ptly cldy none 22:00 43 11 16 292 (WNW) 757 ptly cldy none 23:00 43 11 14 306 (NW) 617 ptly cldy none 00:00 43 10 11 278 (W) 463 mstly cldy none 01:00 43 9 10 267 (W) 428 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 10 11 274 (W) 478 ptly cldy none 03:00 42 10 9 307 (NW) 539 clear none 04:00 43 12 8 261 (W) 554 clear none 05:00 33 8 6 74 (ENE) 888 clear none 06:00 35 14 4 173 (S) 1650 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
