Changed XTilt 135 -> 40 YTilt 1135 -> 975 We had lots of clouds for the first half tonight but we slugged through them since there was no precipitation threat. It made finding guidestars a challenge though. Clouds thinned durning the 2nd half of the night but we had cirrus all night. NA2 guider was having problems locking onto a field stars and guiding tonight. Stars were bright enough and NA2 seemed to ID them as appropriate but several problems with locking/keeping stars. I don't think this was due to the clouds. I sent a separate email to Fritz with details. When I switched to Echelle, ecam was non-responsive. It checked fine during my checkout. I restarted the Nubs for both ecamera and ecam. That didn't fix the problem. I then power cycled the camera and restarted it. That fixed the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:40 dcamera 516( 629) 212 64 7.4 9.1 9.0 9.4 7.4 -- 1.30 19:11 dcamera 545( 622) 218 61 7.2 8.3 8.3 8.0 7.0 -- 1.20 01:20 ecamera 697( -404) -26 58 5.9 5.7 6.2 5.7 5.8 ND4 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 11 19 260 (W) 2195 mstly cldy none 17:00 51 10 24 248 (WSW) 1797 mstly cldy none 18:00 48 7 18 265 (W) 1362 mstly cldy none 19:00 46 11 18 265 (W) 1745 ptly cldy none 20:00 45 9 11 246 (WSW) 1483 cloudy none 21:00 45 10 17 267 (W) 1439 cloudy none 22:00 45 10 17 267 (W) 1354 cloudy none 23:00 44 9 12 272 (W) 1301 cloudy none 00:00 44 8 13 275 (W) 1119 cloudy none 01:00 44 9 14 271 (W) 986 mstly cldy none 02:00 43 8 14 279 (W) 1004 ptly cldy none 03:00 42 9 10 261 (W) 1093 ptly cldy none 04:00 41 9 9 263 (W) 1160 ptly cldy none 05:00 41 9 11 259 (W) 1081 ptly cldy none 06:00 40 9 12 243 (WSW) 1064 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
