The dust persisted the entire night, right up until the cutoff time for the last program. We were able to open for the last hour or so of the night. When we did, seeing was pretty good, surprisingly! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:53 ecamera 494( -690) 56 23 4.1 3.0 4.2 3.0 3.5 ND3 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 12 10 281 (W) 7023 clear dust 17:00 44 11 13 275 (W) 9940 clear dust 18:00 43 11 9 267 (W) 13972 clear dust 19:00 39 10 4 262 (W) 16282 clear dust 20:00 37 8 7 297 (WNW) 11027 clear dust 21:00 35 9 9 246 (WSW) 17377 clear dust 22:00 36 11 10 236 (SW) 18458 clear dust 23:00 39 8 11 265 (W) 16680 clear dust 00:00 39 8 9 268 (W) 11708 clear dust 01:00 39 8 11 252 (WSW) 9617 clear dust 02:00 38 8 10 267 (W) 8569 clear dust 03:00 38 9 9 264 (W) 10309 clear dust 04:00 38 9 12 263 (W) 9680 clear dust 05:00 39 9 14 292 (WNW) 10139 clear none 06:00 39 2 6 324 (NW) 1751 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
