Seeing was pretty good until the wind shifted around 1am and brought more dust in. We checked collimation with Agile in between CU02 and NM10. There was a small pointing offset, opposite to Monday night. See Russet's email. Second half went smoothly, and the winds/dust never got too awful. Seeing was variable after midnight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:45 dcamera 525( 500) 210 65 5.2 6.3 6.5 6.0 4.9 -- 1.15 00:20 dcamera 461( 248) 84 60 0.2 2.5 2.7 1.9 0.9 -- 2.70 01:32 ecamera 696( -594) -61 77 2.9 2.2 2.5 2.1 2.6 Clear 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 7 6 266 (W) 3678 clear dust 17:00 49 9 16 259 (W) 3617 mstly clr dust 18:00 46 9 16 234 (SW) 3834 mstly clr dust 19:00 41 6 10 233 (SW) 4502 mstly clr dust 20:00 41 5 15 231 (SW) 4899 mstly clr dust 21:00 41 3 19 255 (WSW) 4147 mstly clr dust 22:00 41 2 12 264 (W) 3011 mstly clr none 23:00 41 0 14 270 (W) 2783 mstly clr none 00:00 40 0 14 277 (W) 1966 mstly clr none 01:00 32 -1 5 84 (E) 2168 mstly clr none 02:00 36 3 11 224 (SW) 4099 ptly cldy dust 03:00 37 1 12 212 (SSW) 3302 ptly cldy dust 04:00 36 0 7 198 (SSW) 3294 mstly clr dust 05:00 36 -2 9 187 (S) 3101 mstly clr dust 06:00 36 0 10 213 (SSW) 3808 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
