Temperatures plummeted, humidity spiked, and we got a little bit of snow/frost. The outside dust counter flatlines some time during the night. Hopefully it is just frozen. Had issues with guiding, email conversations were started. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:38 dcamera 498( 573) 199 68 6.6 8.3 8.5 8.4 6.7 -- 1.10 00:38 SPIcam 594( 226) 42 78 -4.6 -3.3 -2.6 -3.5 -4.3 sdss r 4.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 4 14 318 (NW) 524 clear none 17:00 48 4 16 283 (WNW) 524 clear none 18:00 50 7 5 253 (WSW) 524 clear none 19:00 45 6 8 257 (WSW) 524 clear none 20:00 44 6 8 264 (W) 524 clear none 21:00 43 5 9 301 (WNW) 524 clear none 22:00 43 4 0 198 (SSW) 524 clear none 23:00 40 1 17 76 (ENE) 524 cloudy none 00:00 29 18 25 82 (E) 524 clear humid 01:00 25 20 31 72 (ENE) 524 clear humid 02:00 23 20 19 81 (E) 524 clear humid 03:00 21 20 28 73 (ENE) 524 mstly cldy humid 04:00 19 18 32 72 (ENE) 524 cloudy lt snow 05:00 18 17 20 73 (ENE) 524 cloudy lt snow 06:00 17 15 26 75 (ENE) 524 cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
