I had performed a dis home yesterday, after calibrating gratings, and today I found grating set 2 gratings off +/- 30 steps. Homing the turret moved things back to their correct positions. Internet connections dropped around 04:15UT, came back in a minute or two on their own, but managed to mess my remote users TUI guider updates. I had Don log out, quit TUI, and relog back in to fix the connection issues after the internet came back up. No time was loss since TUI was in the middle of an exposure and the guiding was still working fine on APO's end. No problems otherwise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:24 ecamera 766( -648) 73 41 -2.2 -0.8 -0.8 -0.7 -1.9 ND4 1.40 20:17 ecamera 728( -762) 156 38 -2.8 -2.5 -2.0 -2.6 -2.9 clear 1.38 00:18 dcamera 638( 115) 131 72 -2.8 -3.3 -2.8 -3.3 -3.2 -- 1.20 05:45 dcamera 621( 170) 254 71 -1.6 -1.9 -1.6 -1.9 -1.7 -- 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 32 21 14 269 (W) 468 mstly clr none 17:00 30 20 14 265 (W) 383 mstly clr none 18:00 28 20 20 266 (W) 410 mstly clr none 19:00 28 20 23 267 (W) 463 mstly clr none 20:00 27 19 15 284 (WNW) 441 clear none 21:00 28 19 17 289 (WNW) 513 mstly clr none 22:00 27 17 17 281 (W) 400 ptly cldy none 23:00 27 18 20 296 (WNW) 371 mstly cldy none 00:00 26 18 14 314 (NW) 329 mstly cldy none 01:00 28 15 14 327 (NNW) 386 mstly clr none 02:00 29 6 16 359 (N) 246 ptly cldy none 03:00 28 8 6 340 (NNW) 242 mstly cldy none 04:00 29 6 25 330 (NNW) 198 ptly cldy none 05:00 30 6 16 326 (NW) 169 mstly clr none 06:00 29 7 8 323 (NW) 164 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
