See engineering email for details. During the ecam guiding tests, we let Kaike take some data on echelle. Candace called in a ToO for the morning as well. Did guiding tests, collimation, and pointing models in addition to the morning ToO. Skies were partly cloudy all night, and seeing was right around 1". Winds picked up and got a bit crazy in the morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:27 tcamera 619( 664) 48 46 1.6 3.4 3.0 2.7 1.8 -- 0.98 19:57 ecamera 715( -553) -48 49 2.2 2.2 2.4 2.0 2.1 Clear 0.86 23:14 GUIDER 597( 494) 123 65 2.6 1.9 2.3 1.9 2.0 -- 1.00 02:08 ecamera 732( -578) 294 55 1.5 1.6 2.0 1.6 1.6 ND2 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 38 1 9 315 (NW) 323 mstly clr none 17:00 39 6 12 269 (W) 236 mstly clr none 18:00 35 3 16 300 (WNW) 208 mstly clr none 19:00 35 3 12 271 (W) 213 ptly cldy none 20:00 36 5 15 279 (W) 287 ptly cldy none 21:00 35 6 14 295 (WNW) 424 mstly clr none 22:00 37 6 19 304 (NW) 324 mstly clr none 23:00 37 6 11 282 (WNW) 315 mstly clr none 00:00 36 7 16 318 (NW) 299 mstly clr none 01:00 36 11 8 350 (N) 270 ptly cldy none 02:00 35 11 11 358 (N) 271 ptly cldy none 03:00 35 15 19 354 (N) 209 ptly cldy none 04:00 35 17 14 7 (N) 176 ptly cldy wind 05:00 36 17 19 20 (NNE) 194 ptly cldy wind 06:00 37 18 24 17 (NNE) 190 ptly cldy wind Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
