After attempting to focus on several 8-9 mag stars, we decided to close, being unable to push through the clouds. The sky did not clear for us until half 21:00. Closed again from 23:08 - 23:42 due to wind. Other than the weather, it was a productive night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:26 SPIcam 258( -159) 134 47 -6.2 -4.6 -3.9 -4.6 -5.9 MSSSO-R 1.78 23:18 AGILE 308(-2373) -39 52 -6.6 -5.8 -5.2 -6.0 -6.6 SDSS-r 1.00 01:31 dcamera 342( -366) 131 51 -7.4 -7.3 -6.7 -7.2 -7.3 -- 1.64 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 31 7 23 311 (NW) 2251 clear none 17:00 28 1 11 305 (NW) 805 clear none 18:00 26 -5 24 329 (NNW) 1616 clear none 19:00 25 -7 8 319 (NW) 1036 ptly cldy none 20:00 23 -4 5 267 (W) 1225 cloudy none 21:00 22 -1 19 343 (NNW) 1107 cloudy none 22:00 20 0 16 25 (NNE) 1667 mstly clr none 23:00 20 0 7 347 (NNW) 1265 mstly clr none 00:00 19 1 17 317 (NW) 1053 clear none 01:00 18 1 10 42 (NE) 1199 clear none 02:00 18 1 25 10 (N) 1056 clear none 03:00 17 1 22 19 (NNE) 580 clear none 04:00 16 1 17 27 (NNE) 515 clear none 05:00 18 -3 22 33 (NNE) 219 clear none 06:00 19 -7 21 43 (NE) 138 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
