I found the NA2 guide camera not responding (no pings) during checkout. I had to power cycle it. When I did an axis init with AGILE as the instrument, then set inst to spicam the rotator showed stop button and did not rotate when the users commanded a slew (via tcc not slew window, they were tracking at non-sidereal rates). I did an axis init rot to fix. While adjusting focus I got the following error 2014-10-07 03:13:51 APO.Jack-Obs1 200 tcc f text="Sub-command(s) failed: move -1607.8002,-400.0000,193.8651,-198.3972,-127.0859: 826 1 f " I just set the focus value directly and never saw the error again. Other than fighting clouds, no problems at all tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:42 SPIcam 270( 804) -11 33 11.8 13.6 13.4 12.8 85.0 SDSS r 1.60 19:43 NA2gdr 187(30187) -12 33 11.9 13.5 13.4 12.8 85.0 clear 1.50 21:17 AGILE 170(-1609) -2 51 10.9 11.9 12.2 11.5 85.0 SDSS r 1.30 22:44 dcamera 201( 431) -74 78 13.4 11.4 11.7 11.1 85.0 -- 1.50 00:03 ecamera 331( -426) 269 62 14.2 12.6 13.2 12.7 85.0 ND1 0.91 02:59 ecamera 233( -546) -58 69 11.7 12.2 12.7 12.1 85.0 ND3 0.77 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 20 9 288 (WNW) 784 mstly clr none 17:00 57 24 4 288 (WNW) 644 mstly clr none 18:00 55 24 8 299 (WNW) 581 mstly clr none 19:00 54 25 12 298 (WNW) 660 mstly clr none 20:00 53 25 9 277 (W) 609 ptly cldy none 21:00 53 23 6 293 (WNW) 608 ptly cldy none 22:00 52 23 6 335 (NNW) 937 ptly cldy none 23:00 57 20 7 4 (N) 1236 mstly cldy none 00:00 58 18 12 341 (NNW) 1202 mstly cldy none 01:00 56 19 7 337 (NNW) 1327 mstly cldy none 02:00 56 19 3 354 (N) 1181 mstly cldy none 03:00 54 18 11 326 (NW) 978 mstly cldy none 04:00 55 20 8 328 (NNW) 686 mstly cldy none 05:00 53 20 8 287 (WNW) 685 ptly cldy none 06:00 54 19 12 314 (NW) 613 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
