Telescope shows tracking and looks like axis moved but stop button displayed for all axis and the rotator. Problem was a dome/building collision occured and engaged a stop button on the intermediate level. This was just confusing because TUI reported tracking and also stop buttons simultaneously. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:43 dcamera 75( 365) 138 83 11.3 12.6 12.7 12.7 85.0 -- 1.10 20:18 dcamera 212( 465) 206 74 11.5 11.9 12.1 11.7 85.0 -- 1.00 00:17 APOLLO 400( 1339) 328 48 10.5 11.2 11.7 11.1 85.0 -- 1.00 01:19 dcamera 159( 356) 231 74 11.3 10.8 11.0 10.4 85.0 -- 1.25 06:03 ecamera 259( -610) 291 62 10.1 10.3 10.9 10.3 85.0 ND4 0.70 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 20 6 2 (N) 277 clear none 17:00 55 20 6 338 (NNW) 630 clear none 18:00 54 20 9 285 (WNW) 268 clear none 19:00 53 21 11 353 (N) 213 clear none 20:00 52 21 8 10 (N) 235 clear none 21:00 53 20 7 15 (NNE) 231 clear none 22:00 54 20 3 358 (N) 200 clear none 23:00 54 20 8 19 (NNE) 231 clear none 00:00 52 20 1 43 (NE) 202 clear none 01:00 50 21 0 36 (NE) 213 clear none 02:00 53 21 5 0 (N) 216 clear none 03:00 53 22 4 6 (N) 213 clear none 04:00 52 24 6 339 (NNW) 247 clear none 05:00 52 23 13 15 (NNE) 238 clear none 06:00 50 19 8 18 (NNE) 248 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
